2002 & 2003 Players

IMPORTANT UPDATE

We have added a second date for the '02 & '03 group and we will combine the session on Saturday 10/20 with a 5:15PM start time for both ages.  The second date will be on 11/4 at 5:30PM at the West Warwick Rink in West Warwick.  There is no additional fee..

Evaluations for the New England District Development Camp for players born in 2002 & 2003 have been set for Saturday October 20th at Thayer Arena in Warwick. The 2003 group will skate at 5:15PM with the 2002's going on at 6:40PM. Only permanent residents of RI registered with USA Hockey are eligible to participate. Players must attend the evaluation session to be selected by RI to attend the New England District camp. NO player will be allowed on the ice without proof of insurance!

Players attending out of state boarding schools are welcome to attend the evaluation, or they could have their school coach nominate them for an "at large" opportunity through the New England District Nominating Chair, Jim Nolin. Note that nomination by a coach will not guarantee an "at large" spot in the camp.

All participants must register and pay the $50 fee here through this registration page.

All players selected are EXPECTED to attend the District camp March 29th - 31st, location TBD. During the camps our players will participate with and against the top players from Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. These camps present an opportunity for our top Rhode Island players to have fun, show their skills and be evaluated for a potential opportunity to progress further in the USA Hockey Player Development Program.

2004 & 2005 Players

Evaluations for the New England District Development Camps  for players born in 2004 & 2005 have been set for October 21st & 28th at the West Warwick Rink in West Warwick. The 2005 sessions will start 5:30PM with the 2004's going on at 7:10PM both evenings. Players must attend these evaluations to be selected by RI to attend the New England District camp.  Players are expected to attend both evaluations (if there is an issue with attending both, please use the contact link below to contact Richard Oliver).

Only permanent residents of RI registered with USA Hockey are eligible to participate. NO player will be allowed on the ice without proof of insurance!

Players born in 2004 that are attending out of state boarding schools are welcome to attend the evaluations, or they could have their school coach nominate them for an "at large" opportunity through the New England District Nominating Chair, Jim Nolin. Note that nomination by a coach will not guarantee an "at large" spot in the camp.

All participants must register and pay the $75 fee here through this registration page.

All players selected are EXPECTED to attend the District camps in the summer.  Exact dates are TBD, but the 2004 camp will be held the week before July 4th and the 2005 camp will be held the week following July 4th.  During the camps our players will participate with and against the top players from Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Vermont.  These camps present an opportunity for our top Rhode Island players to have fun, show their skills and be evaluated for a potential opportunity to progress further in the USA Hockey Player Development Program.
